Demolition

Complete and selective demolition of buildings and structures, planned around safety, neighbours and materials.

Recycling

Sorting and processing of construction materials so that usable fractions return to the material cycle.

Waste management

Organised handling and documented disposal of the waste that cannot be reused.

A local company for the heavy end of construction.

Illustrative site plan: building, access route and sorting area

Bornhöft Abriß & Recycling GmbH is a demolition and recycling company based in Kramerhof, Germany. We take on projects where existing structures need to make way: for new construction, conversion or redevelopment, or simply because a building has reached the end of its useful life.

Demolition is only one part of what we do. Before the first wall comes down, we plan how materials will be separated, so that concrete, masonry, metals, timber and other fractions can be recycled where possible and residual waste is handled correctly. This keeps a project cleaner, more orderly and easier to document.

Our services are aimed at property owners, developers, construction companies and anyone who needs a site cleared or a building dismantled. Whether it is a single outbuilding or a larger structure, we assess the situation on site, explain the options in plain language and agree on a clear scope of work before we start.

Plan

Every project starts with a site assessment and a clear plan for sequence, safety and material flows.

Separate

Materials are sorted by type as the work progresses, not after everything has been mixed together.

Document

We keep the paperwork for waste streams in order, so you have clear records at the end of the project.

Services from the first cut to the cleared site

Six connected services that cover the whole path from an existing building to a site that is ready for its next use, with recycling and waste handling built in.

Building demolition

Complete demolition of residential, commercial and agricultural buildings, carried out in a controlled sequence. We plan around safety, neighbouring structures, dust and noise, and keep materials sorted as the structure comes down.

  • Residential
  • Commercial
  • Agricultural

Selective dismantling and strip-out

Careful removal of interiors, installations, roofing and building components before the structure itself is taken down. Dismantling by material type makes recycling easier and keeps waste streams clean.

  • Strip-out
  • Roofing
  • Installations
Ask about dismantling

Site clearance

Clearing plots of buildings, foundations, hardstanding and debris so the land is ready for its next use, whether that is new construction, landscaping or sale.

  • Foundations
  • Hardstanding
  • Debris removal

Recycling of construction materials

Sorting and processing of mineral construction materials such as concrete and masonry, together with metals and timber, so that suitable fractions can return to the material cycle as recycled products.

  • Concrete
  • Masonry
  • Metals
  • Timber

Waste management

Organised handling of mixed construction and demolition waste: separation by category, correct disposal of residual materials and clear documentation of waste streams for your records.

  • Disposal
  • Documentation

Planning and coordination

Site assessment, demolition planning, scheduling and coordination with the parties involved. A good plan up front saves time and avoids surprises once the work has started.

How a project runs

A straightforward sequence that keeps you informed at every stage, from your first message to the final paperwork.

  1. Enquiry and site visit

You tell us what needs to go. We look at the site, the structure and the access conditions to understand what the job really involves.

  2. Planning and quote

We define the scope, the sequence and the material handling, then send you a clear quote so you know what to expect.

  3. Demolition and sorting

The work is carried out in a controlled sequence, with materials separated by type as the structure comes down.

  4. Recycling and documentation

Recyclable fractions go to processing, residual waste is disposed of properly and the waste records are handed over to you.

Material loop Demolition Sorting Reuse
Materials leave the site sorted and, where suitable, come back as usable products.

From rubble to resource

Much of what comes out of a demolition site is worth keeping in circulation. Mineral materials such as concrete and masonry can often be processed into recycled aggregates, metals can return to the material cycle and clean timber can be separated for further use.

Not every material is suitable for recycling, and the quality of what goes in matters. We will always tell you plainly which fractions can be recovered on your project and which have to be disposed of.

Materials we typically deal with

  • Concrete
  • Brick and masonry
  • Metals
  • Timber
  • Glass
  • Plasterboard
  • Roofing materials
  • Mixed construction waste
